Why Oregon?  It seems like an easy question to answer but Oregon isn’t all that simple.  It took Oregon's pioneers, mavericks and independent thinkers 200 years to create the entrepreneurial west coast that we celebrate today. In order to answer "Why Oregon?", we set out to capture what the Oregon spirit embodies through the successful brands created here. Our starting point were the brands that began and still flourish in Oregon. It is these brands, the products that they sell, and the story that they tell that cultivate the oregon spirit. We built upon their this "made in Oregon" theme and created our own way of shaping Oregon's overall brand by focusing on four main characteristics epitomized by a successful brand in Oregon.  We believe that these four Oregon brands: Nutcase, Myrtlewood, Oregon Rain Soap and Rogue, each embody a defining characteristic of the state. We hope this site will help to define the brand of Oregon and convince consumers and entrepreneurs that Oregon has a lot to offer.
